George Bayoud, Jr.

George Bayoud is the Founder and CEO of Cowboy Oil & Gas LLC, a privately held company that focuses on the exploration, development and production of oil and gas reserves throughout the United States. COWBOY also acquires mineral rights, royalty rights, overriding royalty rights and working interests in the oil and gas sector.

He founded Bayoud & Company in 1991, a private investment company involved in real estate, corporate ventures and infrastructure projects. He served as president of First Southwest Holdings, parent company of First Southwest Company and as President of First Southwest Asset Management.

Mr. Bayoud served as Chief of Staff to Republican Governor William P. Clements from 1987-1989, when he was named Texas’ Secretary of State, the youngest person to hold that position in the United States at that time.

He is a member of the International Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association (TIPRO). He is also involved in civic and charitable endeavors.

He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he served as Foreman of the Texas Cowboys.

He resides with his family in Dallas.
